Toni Pichler has been playing in Bozen Brass Quintett since 1989. He plays tuba and sometimes presenter during a concert.
For years now he has been the reliable driver of the band. With his fully laden VW bus Bozen Brass has been driving around for years now.
...the way it all started...
At the age of 3 conductor of Brass Band Trens (grandfather conductor).
Later on soprano singer with different choirs until puberty vocal change.
After this midfielder and striker with SV Freienfeld and GS Jolly Vipiteno/Sterzing (football) with his favourite trainer Walter Fleckinger.
At the age of 16 last chance to become a musician, as tuba player.
First music school Sterzing with Walter Holzer, later academy of music Innsbruck, professors Anton Hell, Reinhard Gritsch and Jakob Stroeher.
Greetings also to Tom Walsh (University of Stuttgart) for the great years in Stuttgart and Munich.
